Nick Hilger's initial exposure to construction began in the mid 1970s while still in high school working as a laborer. During the summers of his college years, he moved up from hod carrier to framer and finish carpenter. Nick graduated from Washington State University in 1982, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management. His professional career began as an estimator / project manager working in commercial construction.

In 1992, Nick founded Hilger Construction, Inc. He is solely responsible for establishing the business tone as well as the company direction and is the final decision maker. Nick's positive approach to people as well as business, along with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of construction, have all been key factors in our continued success. Nick's primary roles are overseeing bidding and work negotiations, developing new business opportunities, tracking current projects' progress and ensuring Hilger Construction maintains the high caliber of technical and professional standards for which we are known.
